As students of Havana Cuban Dance Studio, we attend dance festivals and events with much enthusiasm and fully enjoy each and every experience regardless of our level. I would always look at other people who danced with jealousy, but never had enough courage to start dancing myself, because I didn’t think I would be good at it. What I realized after starting classes at the Havana Cuban Dance studio is that if you have the heart for it, anyone can dance. The studio has small class sizes and a lot of individual attention. I started learning basic steps, and before I knew it, in just couple of weeks, I could dance! However, what I find the most fascinating about the studio is the instructor’s love for their art. There are so few people that you meet that are truly passionate about what they do, however, Marcos is definitely one of them. His passion for dancing and sharing it with others is flowing from him with every movement and is very very contagious. He loves to teach and is great at it- he makes you laugh, relax and before you know it- you dance. I have discovered a whole side of myself I didn’t know I had and am very very happy about it. Rashida Akchurina Dancing at Havana Cuban Dance Studio has been an amazing experience! The atmosphere is very inviting and small class sizes makes it easier to learn with more one-on-one focus. The music is awesome! I've always enjoyed listening to the music and now I can dance to it too! I've seen latin dancing and dreamed of being able to dance like that one day... and now I want to dance everyday! The classes aren't intimidating, if there is something you don't understand Marcos will slow down the steps for you until you get it. You always leave having learned something new about dancing and with a big smile, cause the class was so much fun! I know I've only been taking lessons for a few weeks, but I feel like I'm on top of the world when I'm dancing, nothing else matters at that moment. Melissa Ennig I have been taking Private Salsa lessons from Katreena for over a year now and have thoroughly enjoyed the experience. As I have never taken former dance lessons, the beginning was rather challenging for me, but Katreena was very patient and understanding and always very supportive. Her enthusiasm and passion for teaching has made every class enjoyable and fun. I look forward to every class and am now gaining confidence in Salsa dancing.
